My outfit on Day 3 of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, at La Porte Space. In all things tailored.
Once again, Uniqlo brings us another coveted designer collaboration, this time with one of our favourite British designers, JW Anderson. This season, the collaborative Uniqlo X JW Anderson SS18 collection brings us luxurious wardrobe pieces; including both statement prints for the more adventurous, as well as staple pieces like this denim jacket and wide legged trousers. All clothing items from the JW Anderson x Uniqlo SS18 collection
For the last few weeks, I’ve been lucky enough to travel back to Japan, and in a city as vibrant as Tokyo, I had to inject some colour into my otherwise monotonous wardrobe. If you missed the post on my Instagram, see HERE for the outfit featuring pieces from this latest collection.
Now that I’m back in Melbourne, I’ve already crawled back into my comfort zone and this outfit couldn’t say otherwise. Loving the more oversized look, I love the cut of this denim jacket because it keeps its shape well + there’s a matching pair of jeans that combined, looks tres chic. Pushed up at the sleeves, worn open, or even buttoned up just at the top, see how many ways you can style this wardrobe staple.
A designer collection this good (and affordable), means that you need to head into your nearest Uniqlo store ASAP to get your favourite pieces before they’re gone. Time is ticking!
All black and white everything aside, I’ve been loving all things neutrals lately; tan, beige, camel, ivory, cream, brown, you name it. You can throw on several different pieces/ shades together and it gives an overall, cohesive look. And, if gold accessories is your thing, go crazy.
On a side note, this Petite Noe Trunk by Louis Vuitton is definitely one of my favourite bags yet. It’s such a cute size, perfectly fits the minimal necessities and stands out for all the right reasons. Just take my money, Mr. Vuitton
Celebrating the launch of the Amazon Australia, I’ve selected some key pieces from the fashion sector to create this effortless, everyday outfit. Everyone knows that blue jeans and a white T-shirt is a no brainer combination, but the statement Calvin Klein logo, high waisted + wide legged style of the jeans and gold accessories give it this uniquely 90s feel.
With hundreds and thousands of listings, and items from popular brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Tony Bianco, and Seafolly to name a few, Amazon Australia is definitely a new destination for online shopping addicts like myself.
Another collaboration between French fashion icon, Ines Des La Fressange and Uniqlo, brings the latest SS18 Uniqlo X IDLF collection to stores. Complete with classic Summer wrap dresses, linen shirts and pants, this range is one of my favourites yet, and is of course built around a Parisian-chic colour palette of creams, reds and navys.
Two months into 2018, is it still appropriate to still call it a new year? Summer has been a crazy, exciting and fun few months, and I apologise for my
one two month hiatus from the blog side of things, but I’m getting back to the weekly posts starting now.
This blazer is one of my first clothing purchases of 2018 and I although my wardrobe is not short of black blazers, I fell in love with the contrasting stitching and relaxed fit of this one, need I say more? I can’t wait for the cooler months to layer it over a black turtleneck and some blue jeans or black trousers. This definitely won’t be the last time you see this blazer.
Until next time.

A new hair colour for Summer calls for a much needed wardrobe update (something that I didn’t realise was a thing), but I’m totally not complaining about. With all the holiday occasions coming up and my birthday today, I was in search of new, on trend, special occasion outfits. Teaming up with eBay.com.au this time, I’m showing you how I styled this new, last minute birthday dress that I bought 2 days ago off eBay (hurrah for fast and free shipping!). WEARING: Takatoma Sands mini dress from eBay.com.au | Naked Vice 90’s heel | YSL blogger bag | Nicole Fendel bangle (similar)
With over 80 of Australia’s top 100 retailers available to shop on eBay.com.au, it makes browsing from all your favourite stores so much easier. What’s best is the confidence in knowing that you have a money-back guarantee, guaranteed delivery and free returns on most fashion items, which is what online shopping is really about right? There are approximately 60 million listings up on eBay.com.au at any given time, so get shopping!
A white shirt is really one of those staple wardrobe items as I’m sure you’ve been told before, and as we transition into the warmer months, a linen make is a must have. Replacing the usual cotton, linen shirts will have you covered, whilst being totally cool (in both ways). Worn simply buttoned up or open over a cami or bikini when at the beach, there’s nothing more versatile and easy to wear. I love this white shirt, but the baby blue and navy colourways are up in my Summer staples.
Styled with a pair of your favourite of black denim jeans (mine are these with a little bit of stretch and a knee rip), a shirt and jean combo screams all things practical, versatile, comfortable and perfect for the current in between weather we’re experiencing in Melbourne.
The days are getting longer, the breeze is getting warmer and the late afternoons are becoming embellished with the sparkle of the golden hour.
They say everything comes down to the fine details and when it comes to an outfit, your choice of accessories help finish the story you want to evoke in that very moment. Inspired by modern art and the preeminent force of street style fashion, Australian jewellery designer Alix Yang brings a perfect balance of simple yet statement pieces that make any outfit stand out. (The Harper earring is also my favourite).
Once a fan of everything silver, as the Winter days are being left behind, gold is my new go to. Somewhat reminiscent of fond Summer memories of the past, I’ve been wearing these gold hoops by Alix Yang on repeat along with a black or white dress, and a rosy, peachy makeup look to finish.
One of the most anticipated collaborations yet, the JW Anderson x Uniqlo collection finally hit stores and it’s fair to say that it’s one of my favourites to date by the brand.
British designer JW Anderson is known for his bold aesthetic, and is behind pieces such as the iconic Pierce bag that is basically the Chloe Faye bag of 2016 + 2017. With this collection, he brought his unique creative vision and created a simply fantastic range that elevates everyday pieces to the next level. Adorned with cable knits, transeasonal coats, shirts, and signature prints- it’s really the epitome of high street means high end. No doubt a collection that will make a lasting impression.
While there are some pretty amazing trench coats in the collection, I couldn’t go past the blue stripes, ruffles and a wrap skirt, especially with warmer days just around the corner. With the matching striped shirt to the skirt, the outfit looks like a dress, but 10 x more versatile.
If you can’t tell, my favourite piece from the JW Anderson x Uniqlo collaboration has to be the ruffled skirt- I mean I have it in both colourways..
See the full collection here (or what is left of it because a collection this good won’t be on the shelves for long).
