Just coming home from 6 weeks in Europe and into Melbourne’s Winter weather, my skin was more than just in need of some TLC. After finally overcoming jetlag (goodbye waking up at 7pm), I spent a morning walking around the city, settling back home and as a result, my face and lips felt significantly more dehydrated from the harsh winds- let’s just say I’ve forgotten how to accommodate my skincare regime to the weather.
When I was travelling, I wore minimal makeup to keep the baggage light, and coming back to a more extensive makeup/skincare collection was something I definitely looked forward to. I tend to go for the same warm/nude eye and lip colours, so you would think a single palette and a couple lipsticks would do the trick (I mean it did), but a girl has got to have options right? With the new opening of the much anticipated Mecca Maxima and InnisFree stores, I popped into Melbourne Central to have a shop of all things beauty and created this makeup look. Keep reading for the list of products I’ve used.
A bright, pinky eye is definitely a “look” right now and the pop of colour makes Winter that little bit less dull.

The old store was big, but the new store is on another level. I could spend HOURS in here, but I’m glad I had a friend to pull me away before too much damage was done. But I mean, can you really have too many beauty products? If you liked this post, message me or leave a comment for me to do another makeup look! xx
