If you haven't heard already about major British retailer Marks & Spencer, it might be a good time to come out from under your rock. Not that I blame you, since the places to shop nowadays seem to be growing incrementally, but the most recent Marks & Spencer 'As Seen in British Vogue' collection ticks all the boxes. Block colours, on trend, clean designs, affordable prices and an approval by Vogue? What more do you need?
WEARING: M&S ruffled blouse | Ring bag from the British Vogue collection | bootleg trousers | leather buckle sandals in black and white
Right now I have the biggest obsession with gingham and shirts so this gingham shirt dress answers all my sartorial needs as of now. Worn as a dress on those lazy days when finding matching bottoms is a struggle OR as a shirt under a skirt- it's the perfect print that makes a statement without being too loud.
M&S Checked long sleeve dress (worn as a shirt) | M&S British Vogue across body bag in navy + twist lock bag
Aligning with my personal style, I mainly opted for the monochrome pieces (and a pop of navy) from this collection. Working seamlessly with the existing pieces in my wardrobe and those new additions from Marks & Spencer, the M&S x British Vogue collection pieces are definitely new staples.
