A Shirt Dress + Black Accessories

WEARING:  Nique shirt dress | Naked Vice 'The Perspective' bag
The Fifth Watches timepiece | leather jacket (similar here) | Silent D Edge Sandal

A white shirt dress is something that's been on my wishlist for a while now and I was lucky enough to finally stumble across one whilst in Nique the other day. Buttoned up to the top/two buttons left open, sleeves rolled up/ sleeves rolled down- it's SUCH a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe.

You all know I'm all about the monochrome outfits so I've paired this with a leather jacket and my new favourite bag by Naked Vice. The bag doesn't look that big, but it actually fits SO much (drink bottle, iPad mini, macbook charger you name it..) and the zip around design means you can open your bag and find whatever you're looking for in an instant. Now you all know why I don't do mini bags (practicality > aesthetic.. MOST of the time)

Farfetch Take Over Fashion Festival #MBFFSYDNEY

Although I'm based in Melbourne, I've been lucky enough to have the chance to attend the Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival held in Sydney as it's an event much coveted about in the fashion industry and is known as the biggest fashion event of the year in Australia. Online designer luxury store Farfetch is holding a competition where you create your ideal fashion week festival and below is a brief snapshot of my vision.

Below I've selected a few dream outfits that I would wear to Sydney Fashion Week. I've kept the outfits minimal like my personal style, but I've gone for pieces that stand out more. Paired with a dark coloured lip or slicked back hair, these outfits will be effortlessly chic (all items from Farfetch).
Acne Studios Spitfire sunglasses | Stella McCartney Winter snow boots
Saint Laurent Buckled Overcoat | Givenchy Paris clutch | Drome skinny trousers

Narciso Rodriguez asymmetric top | Ellery flared trousers | Chloe Drew shoulder bag
Opening Ceremony Julia Mules | 1-100 Rings 1 and 2

Alexander Wang shirt dress | Saint Laurent classic biker jacket
Piazza Sampione trouser | Aquazzura Tutto sandal | Alexander Wang Prisma envelope bag

Drop Crotch Pants: Look 1

Drop crotch pants are one of those things you see in the list of "man repelling clothes" and can be a hard thing to style because it can easily make your legs look short and stumpy or take 10cm off your height. I love to wear drop crotch pants, but they definitely require more outfit thought than any other bottoms. The first of two outfits that I've styled is a more corporate/night appropriate look and the tailored blazer balances out the silhouette of the drop crotchness of the pants.
WEARING: First Base T-Shirt | Assembly Spectrum pants (from Just a Local Store)
ASOS Blazer | Givenchy Pandora mini bag | Rayban RB2180 sunglasses | Spurr heels

Part 2 coming later this week
