Clear Blue Skies

Maven the Label sheer pullover, Rayban Aviators (from Vision Direct), Kookai bralette, Vans 'Old Skool' (from Platypus), Zara bag

It's New Years Eve, and because I never got around posting this when I had originally scheduled to post yesterday morning, I now have to finish my makeup on the car to NYE's celebrations to be able to squeeze in ONE last post before the year officially comes to an end (sad face).

2014 has been an incredible year for me- both life wise and blog wise; I've met SO many amazing people over the last 12 months, and have had opportunities I would never have thought possible, (i.e. being featured in magazines and working with brands that I've been fans of way before I even existed on this whole bloggersphere) and without your support it wouldn't have been possible. I'd like to say a massive THANK YOU to each and every one of you for keeping in touch and for following me; whether it's popping by and reading my posts here, liking my photos on Instagram or Facebook, or even saying hello on the street, it really does mean a lot to me and I'm so incredibly blessed and grateful for what I've been able to achieve this year.

All the best for the rest of 2014, if you're reading this from the other side of the world (aka not the Southern hemisphere). I'll see you in 2015!

Much love,
Kristy

Fitted Boyfriend Jeans & Clear Frames

WEARING: Dricoper Nash boyfriend jeans |  Zara loose T-shirt, Moto jacket
Proenza Schouler PS11 bag | Adidas Adilette slides | Oscar Wylee Blair glasses

I live in my baggy, ripped boyfriend jeans, and I wear them whenever I can (which isn't often now with the crazy christmas hours, working in retail), but sometimes bagginess and open knees don't quite fit the work dress code and you end up repelling customers and getting looks of disapproval from the older crowd. These boyfriend jeans by Dricoper are slightly fitted- kind of a mix between skinny jeans and boyfriend jeans on both ends of the spectrum, which is work friendly and somewhat slimming too.

Along with all the other people who have bad eyesight (my poor eyesight surprisingly isn't hereditary, rather it's an outcome of staring at computer screens/ mobile phones for prolonged periods of time), I have to go through the whole routine of putting contacts in before I go out, otherwise I'll be squinting at menu boards and taking longer to order when I'm getting Starbucks or the like. Sure, glasses are great, and I'm not one of those people who live in contacts, but the multiple pairs of glasses that I do own just seem to disappear whenever I need to wear them.
Last week, I received these clear frames from Oscar Wylee and I've been wearing them every day. Everyone really needs a pair of clear glasses in their collection.

Flowy Tops

Wearing: Boohoo longline top, ASOS skirt, Elle Louise sunglasses, Acne Studios pistol boots

This top is essentially a maxi dress with a slit on either side, but it's 10 times the fun to wear because have you tried walking in this thing? Probably not.. so envision yourself walking with a train of fabric flying up behind you (how far it flies really depends on how fast you walk/run), which actually if you think about it, isn't that considerate of others around you as you're talking up more space than normal, but stuff it because it's all for the sake of farshun.

In other news, Christmas is in 21 days. What..?
