So long countless nights reading until 5am, purely for the reason that there was nothing interesting to do alone when I woke up since almost everyone I knew was overseas basking in the European sun. Looking back now, the two month semester break flew by pretty fast, but during it? MAN, eating out no longer was exciting as it had been compared to when you had to schedule it in between classes (I think I ate Japanese food for 5 days straight, what is variation?); even watching TV series and movies became mundane.. OK, with the exception of SATC and Bridget Jones' Diary (I'd rewatch those any day).
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad to go back to uni; it means I can return to following a routine (not that I was so good at following it last semester). Hopefully, I can get my gym pass to good use too since the plan to get fit during the holidays and return looking toned and energised clearly didn't happen (more like the contrary). Then again, most of the things I had written on my 'Things to do on the holidays list' were never really completed. I mean, I had started a new painting, but after a few days I decided that sleeping in was better. I wish you could somehow store hours of sleep and use it for those days when you manage to get 4 hours of sleep from staying up too late finishing assignments due the next day, or trying to watch a whole season in a night.
Finishing on a note more relevant to this post, this coat is a result of too many wonders past Zara after the numerous brunches that happened in the last two months. But hey, a grey coat is a better splurge than those heels that you buy because they look amazing both on and on the shelf, but never end up being worn for longer than the walk around the house since you're more likely to roll an ankle than be able to walk comfortably in them, but that's another story.
