After a good couple of hours of pulling off everything off my clothes rack and reorganising things into categories so getting dressed wouldn't be such a long process, I've managed to get all my Winter coats and jackets onto one rack and my most worn tops onto another (black and white how surprising).
My outerwear items for Winter are:
1. A leather jacket
2. A warm coat suitable for more formal occasions
3. A denim jacket
(I have a cropped fitted one by Ziggy, and another oversized vintage one)
4. A warm coat with a relaxed fit
(because let's be honest, some coats aren't that comfortable as your arms are often restricted. Mine is from Zara yet again..)
6. A long, black cardigan
For accessories, scarves will be your best friend as will boots which can comfortably get you around for a whole day without blisters. I've fallen victim to boots that look deceivingly comfortable, until you're putting bandaids on your ankles 3 hours later. So my tip is to invest in leather boots and wear a heel height you're comfortable with.
