H&M Melbourne Launch

If you haven't already heard, the first H&M store was opened in Melbourne's GPO building yesterday, the 5th of April. With over 5000 square meters in floor space and 3 stores high, it makes the store one of the biggest in the world and probably one of the most beautiful too (you'll understand what I mean when you have a look in person or in photos if you're not from Melbourne).  The store officially opened at 10am, but I set my alarm at 4am, hoping to make it there by 5:30 for the 6am pre launch, but only having 3 hours of sleep made it a challenge so I only managed to roll out of bed just before 5am, getting to GPO by 6; by then I was already late as the line was massive.

Wearing: Shakuhachi jumper, Zara dress, Sportsgirl leather vest, Sportsgirl necklace, Larsson & Jennings watch, Amber Sceats bangle, Proenza Schouler 'PS11' bag

The damage 2 hours later. (Wearing heeled boots was a bad decision as my feet were aching after 9 hours. My initial intention was to get some extra height so I could see better in the crowd, but wearing sneakers would've been a much, much smarter choice.) Pricing you ask? The H&M divided section is really cheap (you can have a look online here), but the trend collections are similar prices to Topshop (maybe a tad cheaper), but hey, you pay for the quality, you can't expect $20 for real leather.

It's times like these that I'm so grateful for living in Melbourne. Besides the food, the fashion and shopping is getting better at a rapid rate. COS stores, we're ready for you.
P.S: If you follow me on Instagram you'll probably know that I got my wisdom teeth out last week, so that explains why my cheeks still are a bit puffy.

Until next time!
